Community Development Medicinal Unit (CDMU) Odisha was created in the year of 1987 in the State of Odisha with help of WBVHA and several Professionals and Social Workers of Odisha. It was created with the purpose of health promotion, promotion of Rational Use of Medicine and CDMU procures quality medicines to meet the requirements of its member organization at economic price. Presently CDMU is associated with 429 member organizations covering whole of Odisha and 10 neighbouring states and to meet their requirement, supplying generic, rational medicines at their door step as well as taking up several educational/and capacity development training programs on Rational Use of Medicine and other health related issues.
